The Helical Pulldown Micropile™ is a system for constructing a grout column around the shaft of a standard helical pile. The Micropile™ is resistant to bucking in weak surface soils, is a stiffer pile (deflects less at a particular load), and provides additional corrosion protection in aggressive soils. The Micropile™ develops additional capacity by combing both end-bearing on the helical plates and skin friction along the rough surface of the grout column. The result is a high capacity pile system. Potential foundation settlement problems can be solved by installing the proper Foundation System prior to pouring concrete footings.
Pre-engineered tieback systems for excavation support projects simplify challenges often faced with earth retention. Helical tiebacks are a superior method of earth retention as they can be installed and loaded faster and more economically than grouted tendons.
A home resting on unstable soil may shift and settle. To correct this problem, galvanized steel helical piles are screwed into stable soils and attached to the foundation with brackets. The foundation brackets are utilized to support the weight of the structure. The weight of the home is transferred to a stable soil layer.
Walkway piles have been installed in environmentally sensitive areas: such as wetlands, beachfronts, prairies, and historical sites.
